Another New Car in Atlanta

#1

"Threshold Ben" (sorry, I can’t remember the last name) was at the NASA SE event on Sunday. He had been lurking in the background of spec e30 and had been by the shop once before. After meeting honcho Carter and the group of spec e30 drivers at Road Atlanta he decided to kick-start his project and get his e30 to grid by Robeling Road(?). Ambitious plans meant that he needed a car with a roll cage. He hooked up with Cullen and purchased David’s red caged car last night. Let’s wish him well and lend a hand in his efforts to make the grid in 7 weeks. Regards, Robert Patton

I did the car moving olympics this weekend:
The 2002 mini cooper decided to stick its own starter, so after I figured that out; it went to storage, cullen’s old car, "Big Red" got put into the garage; and I did a quick compression check on a motor my buddy has from his "Bronze Betty" car and it all looks good.

"Old Blue" is on one side of my garage awaiting further disasembly for parts, "Big Red" is waiting for the last of my parts from Bimmerworld to arrive, and I should have it all sorted out by this weekend.

So we got: Old blue gives up the rear differential, the motor comes from Bronze Betty, the rest of bimmerworld parts arrive and …then the big checklist gets made and I try and figure out the best way to get all these parts on to a single car.
