Amatuer hour, heartburn, SE30 roadtrip

#1

Damn it’s quiet.

I am on my way back from a 600 mile roadtrip in the spec e30…towed a trailer with an Alfa Romeo front clip up to Manassas VA and made a couple more deliveries plus picked up a set of tires for next years enduro’s.

It is definately the amatuer hour on I 95…there are many people who need to be Darwin’d off the road, maybe the economy will get em. How is merging onto an interstate highway at 35 mph a good idea, some poor sap a mile back pays the price. I gave up yesterday at dark, near Fredericksburg VA. I had taken some really nice back roads up around Round Hill VA and Paris, once I got down to Warrenton it was pretty crowded. Even with the trailer, the spec was fun to drive. When I dropped the clip off, people came out and took pictures of the rig, they thought I had just driven over from DC…when they found out I came up from NC they bout crapped.

I have been going through a bunch of test lately to try and help my acid reflux, I have found one thing that works like a charm, 100% cranberry juice, completely unsweetened, 2 ounces in the morning and 2 ounces at night. The stuff is so bitter it turns your mouth inside out but it works.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy christmas.

Right on Al. I plan on driving my Spec E30 to all events this year. That’s grassroots damnit.

I got nothing for the heartburn, other than avoid chattanooga berbekew.

You may be driving it to SE events but you can rent my trailer to drag it back home.
