Airbox question...

Will an airbox from a '87 325e fit an '87 325i?

I just took a quick look and they are the same dimension wise. The e-box has a sensor on the engine side that is not used on the i-car. So, yes, it should work - but note that the AFMs are not interchangeable.

Ed, thanks much! I figure going from a cone filter won’t have any of the downside. I’ll keep posted if there are any issues.
