I have heard that if the ABS check light is burnt out or missing the whole system does not work, is there any truth to this…Thanks!
ABS, is this true?

Great, so if I replace my burnt out bulb and the systems goes through the light on off sequence my ABS should work, guaranteed!

If the ABS light goes off then your ABS relay is probably ok. But when you start moving your light will go back on because you’ll have problems with your wheel sensors. You’ll get that straightened out only to find that your pump is dead and your LF caliper isn’t getting any fluid.
Then you’ll come back on the forum and say “Dear Ranger, if you send me your spare ABS pump you will never buy a beer at a race track again”.

Doc Ranger,
If I ever get a chance to race with you and I get your pump, wheel sensors and any other odds and ends I’ll be sure to buy you a beer or two before the race, anyway thanks for the help!
