A new Northeast Spec E30 Comming late 2008

Hello All,

You have a great spec series here and what seems like a great supportive forum.

I Just got my hands on a 1988 325is and I hope to go racing late next year.

I am using the car as my daily driver and some track days now, i just bought a house so the wallet is empty right now.

I hope to start gutting the car this winter and adding the basics to go racing.

It is amazing how wanting to have a race car gets you competing is all sorts of things.
My car projects are competing with my house projects and they are both competing with my "Honey Do" list. the Car, house and wedding budgets are all compteing with each other too. Gotta love the fun.

Here are some pics on the this abused car.

Welcome aboard Dan. It’s looking like NJ might have the majority of the Northeast SE30s next year, I’m up in Clifton. Good luck with the build, you should be able to find all the answers you need here, if not just ask and someone will help you out.

Good luck with the build. I’d allow yourself not to be disappointed if you don’t make it into a race until 2009. Building my car has taken much longer than I had hoped, but a year is just about right when you’re on a budget. Downside is there don’t seem to be any licensing schools at the end of a season, only the beginning.

welcome to the game! I’m still building out mine (which makes your’s look like a dream boat.)

If you need a hand with anything, feel free to give me a shout. I’d love to be able to use the engine lift I bought more than once…

Cheers,
Adam
