'87 Air Dam Bracket Part Number?

#1

I hate to distract anyone frantically preparing for VIR with such a mundane question, but here goes: does anyone know the part number for the three black plastic brackets under the front bumper that support the gonzo '87 air dam? I couldn’t find them on realOEM and the local dealer couldn’t locate them either (but they suck ass). It could be they aren’t made anymore–JP said the air dams themselves aren’t.

Thanks,
Sasha

I doubt they make them anymore, but I’ll look for the part # @ work tomorrow.

Those parts are NLA (No Longer Available). I made some aluminum replacements that you can see here:

I also have an old plastic bracket that I glued back together - I would only use it to model a new one. At one time, I looked into having exact replicas machined, but the price was silly expensive.

I don’t use the stock spoiler any more - if you’re interested in my old aluminum brackets (one is a little bent up - but they still work great) then drop me a line at victorhall@comcast.net
