4 Door Auminum Door Panel Fabrication

#1

So - one more thing off the list - looking like a race car.

The wife spent quite a while with the templates - turned out not bad! She cut them out, and told me where to drill for the rivets - all I did was pop the rivets in.

Anyone need panels or templates? I’m sure I can rent her out (just for fabrication - sorry guys).

That is a nice add -

It is from TC Designs

http://www.tcdesignfab.com

Not on their site - you have to call them. Good guys to work with. Also, not a press fit - it is held with 3 screws - for those that have had the knob fall off in their hand, you know what a benefit that is. Shift lever is out of of my Z3 - slight reduction in throw, and all BMW. I replaced the bushings while I was in there too. Not too bad.

I have one of those to install as well - ask for the Jaffster knob.

thanks for the reply. I just put in the bmw z3 short shift kit from bma auto. works great. replaced most of the bushings while under there.

I will be calling tc tomorrow for pricing, like the screws too. much better than the press on oem, yech.
