Do you need to change the fuse box when converting a 318?

I can’t imagine that you would. I recommend comparing wiring schematics to make sure the M20 C101 connector is plug and play.

Early 318 or late? The early ones i assume have the same square connector that the 85 325e has, so an adapter will be needed to fit a round connector from a 325i engine harness.

The m20 harness is indeed plug and play with the late model 318. At least in mine it was.
