2012 NorCal SE30 Contingencies

#1

Hey guys - we’ve been busy gathering up supporters for NorCal SpecE30 with cash and other swag. Some are returning with us this season and we’re also excited to welcome new supporters to the series.

In addition to NASA’s national-level contingencies (www.nasaproracing.com/contingency) and PointSix/Valley Motorwerks (www.poinsixracing.com) behind the scenes support doing our website hosting, here’s what we have in store for NorCal SE30 racers so far.

Toyo Tires(Part of NASA’s national contingency program)
With NorCal SpecE30 averaging fields of 28 cars for each event over the 2011 season we expect to maximize our Toyo Buck contingencies this season. For fields of 19+ starters for each race we’re going to see $300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd, $100 for 4th and $75 for 5th. PLUS $50 in Toyo Bucks also get paid for positions 10th-14th! That’s $2150 in Toyo Bucks EACH Weekend and $17,200 for the season! Remember to qualify each SpecE30 must display 4 Toyo Tire decals. See AIM Tire for Toyo Tire decals. www.nasaproracing.com/contingency/toyo_tires/2012_Toyo_Tires_Regional_Champ_Contingency_Info.pdf

NASA NorCal – Pro-Am Championship
In addition to our regular 2012 NorCal Regional points championship, NASA NorCal has come up with a unique and fun team series with some serious cash payouts. We’ve named this new series the “NorCal SpecE30 Pro-Am Championship.” The goals of this series are simple: 1) To have fun! 2) To promote camaraderie through teamwork and 3) to help the new and less experienced drivers by pairing them up with the faster seasoned veterans. The first place Pro-Am team will win a cool $2000 cash, second place $1000 cash, and third $500 cash. Teams will be formed before the March Infineon event and Teams will start accumulating points beginning that race. www.nasaproracing.com
