There is a water take off fitting on the back of the block under the intake manifold, about #6 cylinder. You can drill and tap a colt for 1/8" pipe thread and put the fitting there, away from the pump and where you will loose pressure first. CB

This is the bolt that fell out of my block… :(
I thought you were talking about the bolt under the exhaust manifold. I don’t remember a bolt on the intake side.

The port on the intake side is for the hose that goes to the throttle body for cold wx operation. IIRC it’s 14mm so you just need a 14mm to 1/8npt adapter and a foot of hose to remote a pressure switch there. That’s how I have mine done. My favorite solution tho is Levy’s. He has the pressure switch in between the little hose that goes between the radiator and coolant reservior.
The weakness of putting the pressure switch directly on the tstat is that it exposes it to a lot of vibration. As I understand it, vibration is hard on pressure sensors. Recall, however, that oil pressure sensors are commonly mounted directly to the block so it’s hard to know how much of an issue this really it.
Some tstats are threaded with 14mm ports and some not. If yours isn’t, just drill and tap it. You could even have a local shop weld an aluminum bung to it.

9.3.5.3.1. Heater hoses may be plugged.
My throttle body heater hose is plugged by a pressure sensor.
Piss off.

Oh, my bad. You’re right. The one on the intake side was just LOOSE and leaking. We fixed that first.

I disagree with your interpretation/intorturation.
In order to remove any ambiguity, I’ll request a rule change. It’s time I started that list anyhow.
I put a pressure switch on my enduro/gts1 car via the levie method…after seeing 3 smoked motors it is peace of mind…
loosing the plug out of the exhuast side would suck…
