Doesn’t look like it, I think it was poorly attended last year. Its definitely a fun track although you need hp and its not very technical.

#4

I hope Bluegrass makes it in there as well. Looks like it is going to be nice facility, and its about 30 minutes from my house.

#5

Why is BeaveRun no longer a part of the schedule? We like that track but it’s been MIA from any NASA schedule.

I think it effectively got replaced by Grattan. This thread should give you some insight, it seems it is mostly due to the short length of the track. I’m guessing Grattan is also cheaper to rent.

I just discovered it is on the schedule, it is just not a cross over event between midwest and great lakes, it is a midwest event only. Here is the midwest tentative schedule.

April 25,26 - Road America (Tentative)
May 16,17 - Putnam Park (Cross-Over)
June 13,14 - Blackhawk Farms
July 18,19 - Autobahn Country Club
August 8,9 - Blackhawk Farms
OR 29,30 - Autobahn Country Club
September 5,6 - Gingerman - Could be HPDE Only or with races - Pursuit Style for fun???.
(Sept 10-14 Championships at Miller in Utah)
October 10,11 - Putnam Park (Cross-Over) (Possible replacement for ABCC)
12 - Autobahn Country Club (Low turnout this year - what else should we do in Oct?)

Its south of chicago about 3 hours for me from Indy. Its actually a really cool track. The full circuit is like 3 mins a lap in our cars. We usually run the south circuit as the north is usually reserved for members.

Can’t wait to try Bluegrass!

Yeah the track should be really cool.

Depending on my race budget for next year I may try to bring some Southeast mediocrity with me up to Bluegrass!

25 minutes from my front door? Yeah, I’ll be there B)

Btw, Hi guys. I’m making the move over to SpecE30 from BMWCCA Club Racing K-Prepared. Looking to have some fun and learn a few things!

Hey Anthony, I remember meeting you at Roebling Club Race December before last. Welcome to the madness! Are you converting your KP car or starting with something else?

My Aunt happens to be the Communications Director for Road America. Hopefully she can get me into an event in the near future!

Anyone going to see Bimmerworld race at Road America in August? If so, let’s meet up. I’d love to meet some other e30 guys
