BimmerWorld keeps the fun in Club Racing continues 6th place sponsorship for 09.
BimmerWorld has graciously decided to continue their participation in the now legendary NASA-SE Spec E30 6th place trophy celebration for 2009. This award is presented to the fortunate individual that is neither a front runner, or backmarker, but firmly ‘mid-pack’.
BimmerWorld Owner James Clay said, “We’re excited to be involved with this program again in 2009, the SouthEast has a great group of guys and Spec E30 racing is some of the best and most competitive BMW racing in the country. The trophy and spirit of the award really show the fun and camaderie of club racing.”
The 6th place trophy winner must have BimmerWorld stickers on their car in order to qualify, pledging to buy all their parts from BimmerWorld helps too (but isn’t a firm requirement). The winner will receive a certificate redeemable for their choice of front PFC 06 or PFC 01 brake pads. The PFC 01 compound is designed to provide the ultimate in stopping performance, while the 06 compound combines many of the 01’s superior friction characteristics with longer life and durability.
In addition each recipient will also take home the unique 6th Place Trophy of questionable life and durability which is hand cobbled from various parts in Craig Geiger’s garage (tetanus shot recommended). Rumors of a 6th place medium red t-shirt were unconfirmed at press time, but will be released as more information becomes available.
