2008 contingency offers

#1

RICHMOND, CA-November 12th, 2007. The Norcal Spece30 Series Director Steve Krshul is pleased to announce that AIM Tires and Valley Motorwerks will offer contingency rewards to the top Spec E30 finishers at all 2008 NASA Norcal Series Points events.

Ron Cortez of AIM Tires said, “We supported the original RX-7 series with NASA (including assisting in creating the rules) then helped get the Spec Miata program off the ground in NASA and SCCA. So, as you can see we believe in low cost Spec series. I think they are great for the sport. So, by all means we can add contingency support to the class. Sign my company AIM up!” AIM Tires is offering awards per race in the amounts of:
1st Place = $50 Voucher good at AIM Tires
2nd Place = $25 Voucher good at AIM Tires
3rd Place = $15 Voucher good at AIM Tires
4th Place = $10 Voucher good at AIM Tires
5th Place = $5 Voucher good at AIM Tires
The contingency will require that two AIM Tires stickers (obtained in person at the two AIM Tire locations or by contacting www.aimtire.com) be placed on opposite sides of the Spece30 car for the entire event weekend.

Walter Ford of Valley Motorwerks has been an instrumental part of the growth of Spece30 in Northern California and released the following to all Spece30 Norcal drivers; “Valley Motorwerks will be offering a contingency program for the 2008 SpecE30 season. We will be paying out 1st through 5th place in the amount of $50, $25, $15, $10 and $5”.
The contingency will require that two Valley Motorwerks stickers (obtained at any NASA Norcal event by Team Valley Motorwerks or by contacting www.vmwerks.com) be placed on opposite sides of the Spece30 car for the entire event weekend.

These contingency programs will apply to the Spec E30 class entrants at all the NASA Norcal Season Points events.

Both Valley Motorwerks and AIM Tires will also be working on at least 2 random drawings each for the 2008 season for non-top 5 finishing competitors.

These offers by outstanding companies show the rapidly growing interest in Spece30 racing in Northern California.
As the NASA Norcal Spece30 Series Director I welcome all racers to join in on the fun of Spece30 in 2008.

Steve Krshul
Norcal Spece30 Series Director
