09 is getting closer!

I’m trying to make the RA event, but my friend is having a birthday and trying to get a group out to Vegas. Vegas with a bunch of girls or RA with a bunch of dudes? This will be a tough call.

However, I’ve never been to RA so it’d be nice to get to know it a little. Although, I can’t imagine running down that crazy long strait with our bricks.

Surely RA with a bunch of girls should be an option too. I think that I can speak for the entire community when I encourage you to explore that option.

M3Bill will help you work out the logistics. He goes a step further and brings both past, present and future girlfriends to events simultaneously.

I’ve heard that a flag and canopy can help set the mood too.

Girls are around all the time, but a race weekend at a track like RA is rather more rare. I just don’t see where there’s a problem in deciding which to do.

The back straight works just fine for our cars, especially if you get a good run out of T7…

I felt the same way about running the nascar banking at California Speedway and it turned out to be a blast. You can find out what the car’s max is…then what the braking max is!

Hmmm. I’ll run it by the girls and see if they all want to go to RA, but for some reason I think they’ll go for the Vegas option.

I want to go, if schedule works out will certainly be there. It looks like HPDE4 is already full, so will have to go for HPDE3.
That is a cool ass truck. I’ve been looking for a towing solution for sometime, but it looks like I’m getting a truck and a trailer - too bad I missed that thing on racingjunk, I certainly spend enough time there.

I only have one item outstanding - Hans device. But, I’ll probably bite the bullet and get it from CDOC.

It certainly does seem like the list of drivers is growing. I was going to get my motor built by BRE over the winter, but now just considering running the car as is for the first year, then doing more to it.
We flew up to Maryland one way on a lark, not knowing the condition. Luckily it worked out, and we can take all our stuff and both cars in one vehicle!!

buy your hans from discovery parts, they are at the track for every event, and can install the anchors on your helmet for no charge.

My motor is stock with 130k miles, and won’t get a rebuild until it blows up. No reason to spend money you don’t have to.
+1… +100 on supporting Discovery Parts of one of the other Southeast sponsors. They are at every event and will come through for you when you need them.

Ok, I guess I missed something significant here, because now M3Bill is people’s hero. Do tell please.
