If that will get you to 13 pounds or above, you’re good, in my opinion. And since NASA enforces the Rules (and has for the last two seasons), I will be surprised if you can’t talk the official into allowing the wheel weights, etc. in an official weighing of a wheel, considering that it was raced that way.
Obviously, we set a weight minimum for a good reason and if the wheel is raced at 13 pounds or more, I would consider it legal, and will say so if NASA asks my opinion as the Mid Atlantic Regional Series Director. But, it’s a NASA weekend so NASA will make the final decision.
And that is certainly cutting it close…
