What to do in Nov

You’re right Steve, the list of new parts included and a $2000(aprox.) coilover set up with AST/Motons/pickyourpoison… It also includes some heim/spherical work on the rear end and a lot of mods to ECU/intake/head/headers we’d also look at rather dubiously. Wheels and tires too…

All in all a lot of $$ and prep over the SE30’s…

Steve, if your car is picking up the inside wheel, you need your diff fixed!!

And you all forget Skeen went 1:42 and change in a SE30, although several years ago. Consider Hooseirs give you probably 2 seconds at RA, the diff will help tremendously, too. You could certainly field a top 5 car, which at the ARRC is quite an accomplishment.

Oh yea, all I am suggesting is the diff and tire change. Your car is already sorted/ballanced, so to throw a new suspension on for one race makes no sense. And I have almost 2k in my shocks!

Intake and head work is not legal…headers are as is a whole $250 for a megasquirt.Chuck

I haven’t forgotten how fast Skeen went around. But that’s Skeen. He ain’t human. And the new pavement didn’t hurt.

Re: picking up the inside tire. I thought that was more bar and spring related. Not sure how a diff prevents the kind of body roll I was getting with Hoohoos.

At least you spent less on your shocks than Willie!! Your car is clearly very well sorted. It was fun watching you hang with the ITS cars at Barber in Sept.

I am hoping to participate at the ARRC this year. If not, I’ll definitely spectate.

Even with my spring/bar package (springs, btw, are less than SE30) I was spinning the inside rear wheel where you are. After shimming the diff, that went away and lap times came down.

Car at Barber was pushing like a dump truck. A friend hooked up my front bar while I was in the car (on scales) and put the link in the wrong hole. I found it after the ARRC:evil: Chuck

Gee I wonder who could have done that? It’s probably my ace mechanic Wayne. lol
