ok. its official. Got my NASA competition license (a formality but you never know) and just registered for Homestead. Now all I need is a finished car :S. See you all there!

Congrats. Race cars are Never “finished”, just make sure it will pass tech and will be safe. There’s a whole lot of shakin going on with a new car…lol

Like Gary said, race cars are never truly “finished” - although I proclaimed ours “finished” when it passed tech and was given a logbook. All the work now is maintenance…

At some point in the very near future, Im going to have to declare it race ready - perhaps not quite “finished.” I’m planning to have it teched prior to the event to save any potential last-minute drama (as in, but mr. inspector, it doesn’t say anything in the CCR about having to have BRAKES, for example). Two weeks to go - so to steal a bit of redneck wisdom…get 'er done!
