Sticking my toe in the waters

I replaced a heater core with a good used one. It lasted a whole year. I’m done with the heater core and will just take my chances I guess.

Doesn’t sound that “good” if it only lasted as year… :wink:

Well I started the stripdown process this weekend. Pulled out the entire interior witht the exception of the dash, widows and window regulators (will do those later). When I got into the dash I found that the heater core is fine, the leak is coming from the heater control valve instead. So I’ll be replacing that instead. If anybody has a good one that they need to unload let me know. Thanks!
