Just super driving Mike! The way you were cutting through the field looked really no different than last December fun run at RA.

It looked like you were down on power compared to the top 3 cars at the front.

What were you hitting at the end back straight before slowing down?

P.S. - I think your coaching fee just went up by a magnitude.

Thanks guys. No TV announcements have been made, but there have been rumors. If anything, I would guess a 4th quarter documentary-type show.

We might have been a little down on power to the Jags, but some of that distance they were gaining was due to a fuel stutter in second and third gear. It’s kind of hard to pick up on the video. Top speeds were in the 170-180 range.

Awesome video… looks (sounded) like the car would get a little light cresting the hill going into 12 :pinch: Nice driving

Awesome run Mike, congrats, keep it up.

Mike, I was screaming like a girl watching that video. I can’t believe how that car was getting through 12 and 1.

Damn Mike, that is very impressive. Congratulations!

What is even more amazing than Skeen’s excellent driving is the fact that winner Greg Pickett is about 65 years old. I saw him win a Trans AM race at Nelson Ledges circa 1978. That’s before Mikey was even born!

It does get through T1 pretty well. In fact, it goes up the hill into T3 as fast as a SpecE30 goes into 10a.

So, let me get this right, Speed has air time for “Bullrun” and “Low Lifes” but no time to show some REAL racing. Go figure!

Anyway, awesome job Mike! Tom and I hope to be at VIR to cheer you on! Let us know if we can help in anyway!
