Roebling Road:Who will be there?

#41

Now that Mid-Ohio is over we can all get back to the ‘real’ championship down in the SE…

#42

I don’t know… now that Kelly’s coming I don’t know that I feel comfortable talking trash :woohoo:

So we know most of who going to be there. Who’s going to be camping?

#43

I’m off the fence and officially registered for this event. We should have a great turn out. I won’t be camping but if the weather is anything like the last 2 days it will be perfect for it.

#44

Great, Ken. Good to have you racing with us again. See you in less than 2 wweks.

Regards, Robert Patton

#45

Ken makes 21!

Come on Davidson’s… you guys in?

You know you want to.

What about some of you Mid-Atlantic guys?

#46

Scott - you know we want to, it’s just a matter of juggling a few other things. Stay tuned!

Here who’s signed up:

Jim Robinson
Mark Nichols
Mike Skeen
Jeff Puras
Kelly Chidress
TJ Brewster
Robert Paton
Paul Mashell
David Daniel
Steve Foushee
Chuck Taylor
Me (Scott McMennamy)
Keith Smith

That’s 20 people signed up. There seems to be a few names missing.
Damion Moses, David Walsh, Tom Hall, JP Coates, Al Taylor?

#48

Scott - wow, what a field! Looks like the Davidsons are not going to make it. Would really like to be on the front row with you (like at the Rock) in the inverted race. However, after reviewing damages from Nationals, we need a little break. Best of luck to everyone.

Tom is there and will race the "special" Factory 3 event too!

#51

OKay… So, add Tom, JP and Al…

That puts us at 23

Did anyone else got to tell NASA they were coming?

#52

Official schedule is out. I’m glad to see we race first on Sunday and finish at 1:00. That is if no one drops oil on the track and scrubs our race.:woohoo:

Nice one!! I really want to pile on and rip on Jim for dumping oil on the track, but that is some bad juju that I don’t need…

The rest of you should feel free.

#54

I am signed up. Oh I see David Daniel is signed up. This ought to be interesting

#55

Damion + Pink Panther makes 25!

This is gonna be good.

See you guys at the track… drive safe.

#56

I am planning on attending and plan to instruct in the HPDE group. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Speaking of dumping oil, in the BMW CCA race at RA last weekend, I bounced my newly-repaired car over the T1 gators and went for a big dirt ride…Reentered at 3 and did a full lap before the meatball flag clued me in to a problem. So, I killed the motor and pulled off. Later inspection showed a piece busted out of the pan you could stick a finger through. Incredibly, the broken piece acted like a sink stopper and plugged the hole enough to just be a slow leak rather than a 5-quart dumpo into the Esses.

This weekend’s goal for me is to keep it on the pavement…

Is anyone driving down to Roebling from the Triangle area? I am planning on leaving Raleigh around 12:30 on Friday if anyone wants to caravan down.
