Need a theme...

#5

Patton already said that if he can find those teddy bear Ronal’s from the 80’s, he’d build a care bear car:

I think allowing fur on the side of the car will make it into the 09 rules…

#6

After the weekend, the only theme that comes in mind to me might be Pinball wizard.

#7

While I hated it… it was big in the 80’s

Garfield and Friends

Seems like it might be easy enough to come up with a scheme based on his stripes

but if you want something cool… Thundercats might be a better feline theme for you

#8

Transformers?

#9

Underdog!

Ricochet Rabbit :S

The Blue Falcon

#10

Got it!!!

“Speedy Gonzalez”

#11

Mr. Ed?

Kind of goes along with the whole wild horses thing.

#12

Goldfinger… Get car # 007.

Maybe you can be “Odd Job”.

#13

#007 is always taken by Miriam… aka Grey Wolf.

#14

Topcat…Rocky & Bullwinkle

Car #86 (Get Smart TV show)

The Green Hornet. Batman. The Joker. Catwoman.

Yogi Bear.

#15

Herbie the Love Bug!

#16

How about the theme of a running race car? :stuck_out_tongue:

Or are you and Rob in some type of competition for semi working e30’s?

#17

Maybe Rob should read the GRM article about the ebay gas tank install.

#18

Paint a bird on and call it GoldFinger…CB

#19

Paint it flat black like a stealth bomber. Have your kids draw in the rivets on with a paint pen (as punishment for something) OR join the dark side and do a mickey’s malt liquor, colt 45 (gotta have Billy D on the hood), or any other brand of Malt Liquor you like.:stuck_out_tongue:

I kind of like that - I could put viagara and cialis decals all over it… It’ll be mr. ED :silly:

#21

You guys are lame…Travis , have you looked at the sunroof of the pink panther? I mean we are kinda spoofing Malt Liquor, we dont need a team member that obviously drinks lots of the stuff and then works on his car.

Jim, look at some photos of some old Group A e30 race cars in Europe, they had some pretty cool paint schemes/graphics/sponsors, find an interesting one and copy it. Then you can take it to a vintage race and talk about its “history”

Other than that a fur covered pimp mobile with a chartruse interior and gold wheels would be nice.
