Thanks for all the advise you guys are great. I’m stuck w/ the cell and other parts that I’ve been gathering. I will have to work with what I have for now too late for returns.

I gutted the interior. I’m at 2500 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas and two stock seats. This car is a lot of fun to drive now. I can’t wait to do the spec suspension.

I also picked up a fuel pressure regulator and ‘is’ front valance for dirt cheap. The regulator did not fix my rough idle. I painted the top half of the car this weekend.

I used 5 Krylon Fusion spray cans- Satin Black.

Paint looks good. Definitely good enough to race. Did you do any prep work?

Heh, I’m planning on getting an “is” valence and painting mine satin black eventually as well. However, my first phase of the build is suspension. I bought all the parts:

I decided to start with the front. I had the car in the air with the wheels off, and on the FIRST BOLT (caliper), it suddenly broke loose, and my finger was pinched between the car and the wrench. Required 3 stitches. Work is on hold for a week or two.
