Well the M42 from the factory isn’t exactly well balanced, at least the factory tolerances seem pretty high. It was designed as an economy engine. I think a nicely balanced and blueprinted motor should be worth a bit more power. If my car does decent as it is I may put a nicer engine together for later this year or next season.
