Now on top of taking lots of pictures the other high points for me on Sunday were:
I was not DQ’d
No tire wear, no brake wear
No body damage
I am was not complaining that I didn’t like my starting spot… although I would have enjoyed jumping into that #4 spot, you’re welcome Bill!
I can’t be blamed for Gary’s spin.
I don’t need to feel bad, small, weak, inadequate, etc. about getting passed.
I sat and drank beer while you all sat in the hot sun in impound.
My windshield stayed clean from bugs and oil.
I got to watch a lot of very cool racing.
I rode around on the BTM China made Scooter (it jumps curbs and handles the stairs just fine)
I found out where the tunnel is.
I drank another beer.
I drove home really jealous of all of you out there racing your brains out… that was not a high point!
Hope to see you soon… on the track!

Heres one of my fav photos from the weekend. this is the start of sundays race. photo credits to GotBlueMilk. also videos are going up, sat is up; vimeo.com/panda759

Good job out there. I enjoyed your video, but you need to move that camera forward.
I see you have learned quickly how to bump back, giving Donny the push. Well Done!
i am working on camera position, having a super wie angle gopro doesnt leave many options for good viewing as i want to see forward backward and myself so that i can learn from my videos. and thank you, i have certainly become more comfortable out there and bumping, plus someone needed to bump donny after all the bumping hes done to us, me especially haha
The BTM Motorwerks Racing Blog has been updated!

I’m not sure any of the video I got this weekend was really worthwhile posting, but I might be able to put together a highlights reel for Sunday.
BTW, a bunch of pics are here:

These are mostly Ralph Warren’s shots from Sunday in T2 - I asked to use some of his pics in the BTM Blog, and he suggested I host them separately since he may not keep his album up on Picasa for long.
Gotta say, the Sunday race was epic with the course changes and all - I just wish someone else other than myself had worked on the wiring under the dash on the 19 - I’d have made it a bit further. Great weekend, and we’ll see you in August.
So I decided with all the money I have spent on my car this year, and it still doesn’t run right, so in my frustration… I think I found a boat I will buy at Lake Como. What do you think???

And here is the little Villa I looked at to raise my spirits on the off days in July from Spec E30.

I think I have determined though, that all I can afford is the Blue boat over my daughters shoulder.

When driving in Italy, Spec E30 drivers will feel like your in a Spec E30 race, actually I think they drive closer together than we do, and all the damage and scrapes on the cars show it! BMW CCA and Porsche guys wouldn’t like it. I saw more mirrors knocked off than at any Spec Race.

My girls said When in Italy…drive Italian soooooo, I was forced to, well, you know…Not!

Truly the only think I could afford to do there was …
