I just removed the boot from one of my tie rods...
I cut one of the ps hard lines near the banjo bolt and cut the other through the rubber and filled the rack with fuild, looped the cut rubber end over the hard line and hose clamped it. Figured it would let fluid “flow” back and forth as you turn.

Good idea guys???
It’ll work but just capping the steering box is a lot more elegant solution. I had a loop of hose when I first removed PS, but it caused a number of problems. At one event the hose leaked and soaked the underside of the car with PS fluid. Then the year I had to do an engine swap every 20min that damned loop of hose was always catching on the motor mount. It pissed me off one time too many and that’s when I researched plugs to cap the box and get rid of the damned hose once and for all. $19 shipped and a set of those plugs can be yours.

I’m so glad that I’ll never had to do tie rods ever again in my life. My eyeballs just about popped out of my skull trying to get them off.

Heres the Ranger + Turbo329is solution. I don’t think the my line rerouting was necessary, but it’s more elegant. I never had a problem with just the plugs. I think the top pic is the way to go if you’re worried about it and have a hacksaw and flaring tool laying around. The factory line has a funky end on it so the regular flare wouldn’t seal very good if there was any pressure, but there isn’t so it’s not a worry. I would have plugged the holes in the bottom pic but I didn’t have any plugs so I looped it.
