Engine overbore

Bold prediction: 3 DNFs:
Geegar misses the race because he is distracted by the purty welds on the giant spider sculpture.

The mirrored glass on the museum draws Jones into a flexing session and he misses qualifying.

IndyJim misses the whole weekend after accepting a job with Cahaba Riverkeeper. They realized nobody on their staff could bitch about Barber as forcefully as Jim.

I play to my strengths. Srsly I hate that place. I’m being compelled to show up for the enduro but am boycotting the sprints due to Barber sucking.

Even though the enduro regulars that participate in the enduro series voted to not have one, we still ended up with a 90 min. for people that don’t really understand what ‘enduro’ means.

Why is the enduro the last event of the day? Jimmy, I may have to conceed this one to you. I looked up enduro…you are right.

I have to agree that 90 minutes doesn’t make an Enduro. Heck 3 hours barely qualifies. But if that’s what they are going to do I’m there.

What is it that you don’t like about Barber?

The track doesn’t particularly thrill me for some reason, combined with the over the top ground’s keepers makes it no fun. Also everytime I’ve been there we’ve ended up having some type of cluster about getting into the place. One year I think we spent 4 hours in some gravel / dirt parking lot - probably where ‘the help’ park so that the Indy teams practicing didn’t have to look at the poor club racers and get embarrassed. Then last year they didn’t let us in until it was dark and for some reason there either isn’t any light in the paddock or they had turned them on, so 100 guys with trailers trying to find where they’re supposed to park and drop stuff off in the pitch black. All single file from the front of that place to the back which is probably a good mile or so.

Thanks but no thanks, I don’t like rewarding d!psh!ts with my $$$ only to be insulted for my troubles.

As for the enduro, Jim readily admitted this was to boost attendance at Barber despite the poll on the nasa-se forum. That is fine. I’ll show for the enduro but you lost my sprint money, I also don’t like being ‘compelled’ into my decisions.

and yes I realize I’m insane.

I’m in for the enduro if it is rescheduled for Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Like Jim, I’m really not interested in the Sprint races.

Wow, you guys are crying like a bunch of women. Why don’t you take some Midol and have a nap, then come back to the interweb?

By the way, you’re b*tching in the wrong thread. Guys, we’re going racing! that’s supposed to be fun.

HAHAHA, now THAT is solid smack talk. I need to step my game up.

So basically what you’re telling me is I can leave my full length paddock mirror at home?

Okay, I had a nice nap. It’s been a while since I took deductive logic but lets see if I can recall. Here are the premises:

a) Brian Jones doesn’t have a straight body panel on his car.
b) Brian Jones has no experience racing at Barber and wants to see video.

conclusion: someone will not be happy leaving Barber and it ain’t gonna be me.

 That was pretty good, I admit, I laughed out loud.

Hmmm, a couple reasons I can think of that it may not be you:

  1. You’ll throw a fit and pack up your car early to go home.
    OR,
  2. You’ll be trying to take the “win” in your qualifying race and safely put yourself back in last place.

As you said on another forum, earlier this year, I’ll try not to be one of those “dumb bastards that think they can go 4 wide into the turns” this time.

Your major wasn’t deductive logic, was it?
