Thanks Jim for sharing. Boy that’s some speed.
For those who do not have a Traqmate, there is a free program to view these runs.

Can’t fool you guys, I did try to keep James and I unique but we did share the enduro, etc. so some of my cr@ppy laps are polluting his.
Now if only someone could show me how compare this traqmate data to my Racepak G2X data???
Video of Sunday’s sprint race, start and some assorted highlights.

LOL @ 4:25!
You think Nissen had fun in his first race? :woohoo: Surely he wants a SE30 by now.
He’s starting to get angry everytime we mention it.
I’ve tried to organize an amish barn raising where we steal his car and return it spec e30 legal.
4.25… whoops. I get a little carried away.
I think I touched off ww3 on BF with that video.
Jim, here’s my clips from the Sunday sprint. My favorite part was the start, where everybody moved over and gave me room to move way up.
At the 6:00 mark, you enter the scene as we invert for the SE30 race-within-a-race. My race got hosed after I spun avoiding the white car. I ended up half on pavement, which I why my first movement after restarting the car was backwards!

Here is the first half of the Saturday enduro, with Seth driving my car, and chasing Clay driving Jim’s #008

Shh, you just gave away the only speed secret I picked up from the video footage.
Now I’m going to have to buckle down and actually learn how to drive.
Thanks for the big mouth, Bub!
That reminds me, though, of something else funny that happened to Seth.
I warned him before the race about the magic shiftknob that will pop off sometimes. It never happens to me so I forget to fix it, but he said that during the race it came off a few times.
The first time it flew down into the footwell and rattled around for awhile. Eventually, on the straight, he spotted it down by the pedals, worked it backwards with his left foot, and was able to reach down and pick it up. The virtue of long arms I guess.
That must have been a nice bit of multitasking. Too bad the camera wasn’t wide-angle enough to pick up the gymnastic routine.
Chuck,
Thanks for posting the videos. It was pretty fun watching Seth and James duke it out in Spec E30 cars. I thought it was interesting how Seth keeps it in 4th gear all the way from T6 onto the front straight. Seems like he lost some ground every time through there. Looks like you guys had a great weekend.

Its not like there is a whole lot going on in the straights in our HP monsters. :side:
You can’t beat TraqMate for evaluating your laps compared to someone who can drive better. It sure beats the "follow Patton as he goes off" routine that I almost did saturday morning at Roebling. Between him and Chuck I thought the fastest way around Roebling involved dirt shortcuts - unfortunately I had built a lead on them when the Panther’s engine started banging like an old steam locomotive
I have a TraqMate on my list for Factory 3 Santa this year…

strategic use of windshield wipers (moveable aero device? ) and fishing around for loose parts in the cabin is what separates the "pros" from the "joes"
thanks for posting the vid, definitely fun to watch those guys go at it!
Here it is from the team coat tail car. Not as much action since Clay was in front most of the time
You’ll have to download the video if you want to watch 380mb or so, Google’s dark grainy video quality makes me sad.
David, when are you gonna sell that monster car of yours and build a SpecE30? You know the racing is better!

You want to drive in the enduro at CMP in February?
Alright Dave, we can enduro my car for the NASA event, yours at the Club Race. Sounds fair.
