IIRC, I read somewhere that a scraper alone won’t solve the left hand oil climbing, since It doesn’t ensure that the oil stays near the pump pickup – that only a baffle around the pickup will solve it once and for all…

And I have seen the oil pressure drop in a left hander – it happened last year (2005) on the Summit Point Jefferson Circuit, T3 → T4 (CCW). The stock idiot light came on and everything, but no engine damage (I lifted and the light went out).
