A couple yrs ago we looked into hp and PS and found the estimates of hp consumed were surprisingly high at 7hp.

Most SpecE30 racers have deleted their PS both to reduce parasitic losses and to remove remove the awkwardly located ~15lbs of pump, reservoir and hoses. It's also nice to get the extra parts out of the engine bay.

Most common and cheapest PS delete solution in SpecE30.

If you can't install them in 20min, put the beer down and use both hands.
